• New construction and remodel type estimating.
• Experienced in all types roofing.
• Roofing estimator is required to possess strong computer skills, electronic take offs, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Will need to know how to read and do take offs of Construction Blue Prints.
• Needs to be able to work independently under bid deadlines with accuracy.
• Possesses good time management skills to balance in-field measuring and desk top take-offs.
• Picking up of samples to show clients while performing in-field measures as well.
• Be able to communicate with site project managers, architects, designers, with a working knowledge of pre-construction such as plumbing and hvac that can effect estimates.
• Some night & weekend work to meet deadlines also required.
• Take offs, calling for product pricing with the ability to maximize margins by combining material and labor rates for an overall project scope.
• Strong presentation and written skills to explain installation details to customer and management which translates to instructions on a work-order to field supervisor and installers.
• The ability to gain trust and set proper expectations.
• The ability to work closely with and guide installers.

• Reads and understands blueprints, the project scope of work and all contract documents associated with New and Re-Roofing Commercial projects / jobs, low slope and steep slope.
• Sources and compiles list of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Builds relationships with General Contractors and vendors by ensuring excellent customer service and fostering communication opportunities.
• Travels throughout assigned territories to call on and solicit to regular and prospective customers. Bilingual a plus but not a requirement.

• Supervises and coordinates activities of sub contracted crew members engaged in new and re-roofing properties with shingle roofing, metal roofing, gutter installation and maintenance of existing builds/ clients grounds.
• Must have clean driving record for the past 3+ years and have a valid drivers’ license.

Bilingual a plus.
